Apples “Fried”

These are a great way to put something sweet on your plate!

Serves 2


1 large apple, washed

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 cup filtered water

Quarter apple into 4 pieces. Remove out core/seeds. Cut each quarter into 4 more slices.

In a large skillet, add 1/4 cup water and heat on medium. Add apple slices and cinnamon. Stir to coat. Continue to stir occasionally as apples cook. They are done when tender. Continue to add water, if necessary, to prevent sticking.

Remove from pan and serve.
