Basic Nut Pate Recipe

Serves 6

3 cups sunflower seeds (soaked 12 hours, rinsed and drained) or use nut of choice

1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (or to taste)

1/4 cup raw tahini

4 Tbsp. parsley, chopped

1 Tbsp. cumin

1/4 tsp. cayenne

1 tsp. salt

Blend in food processor, stopping to scrape sides. Add water if necessary for smooth consistency.

Serve with sliced veggies such as green peppers, celery, etc.
