1 lb. ground turkey breast
1/4 cup finely diced organic apple with the skin on
2 Tbsp. finely minced onion
1 tsp. ground sage
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
3 Tbsp. grapeseed oil
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
In a large bowl, gently mix turkey, apple, onion, sage, thyme, 1 Tbsp. grapeseed oil, salt, and pepper. Form into eight patties, about 1/2″ thick.
In a skillet, add remaining 2 Tbsp. oil. When oil is warmed, add patties. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side or until firm to the touch.
Let cool a bit and serve slightly warm inside a butterhead lettuce leaf wrap.
Store leftovers in an airtight glass container in refrigerator up to 3 days, or freeze for later use.
